INAUGURAL SPECIAL FORCES CHAPTER LX SPORTING CLAYS

SHOOT
12 NOVEMBER 2010 – FISHHAWK SPORTING CLAYS

Dear Friend of Special Operations:

Special Forces Association Chapter LX, a registered Florida non-profit, is preparing for the
Inaugural Special Forces Chapter LX Sporting Clays Shoot to benefit two of the charities which
support our Soldiers and their families in their times of need after the death or serious injury of their
special operator while engaged in combat or during training exercises. Special Forces Association
Chapter LX will be donating the moneys raised in our event to The Green Beret Foundation
(www.greenberetfoundation.org./) and to Operation One Voice (www.operationonevoice.org/) as our
primary beneficiaries. Your individual and corporate donations and sponsorships will allow us to
combine our efforts in supporting these two wonderful charities.

On Friday, November 12, 2010, we will be hosting the sporting clay shoot at FishHawk Sporting
Clays in Lithia, Florida. FishHawk Sporting Clays, www.fishhawkclays.com, is a new sporting clays
facility that is receiving rave reviews for its challenging course. The event is an opportunity for Chapter
LX members, friends, family and our corporate supporters to enjoy a day of fun and safe shooting while
visiting with some of our wounded veterans and supporting them and their families. The shoot is very
reasonably priced at $125.00 per shooter and $500.00 per team of four (4) shooters. Since this is
Veterans Day weekend, we anticipate a well-attended event, so early registration, sponsorships and offers
of in-kind support are encouraged. Each shooter will receive entry, a shared golf cart for use during the
shoot, 100 clay targets, 100 shotshells in 12 gauge (if you wish to shoot any other gauge, you must
provide your own shells – there will be no other gauge shells available at the shoot), BBQ dinner and an
event T-Shirt. The BBQ dinner will take place after the shoot, and immediately prior to the awards
ceremony and raffles. If you do not wish to shoot, please come out to watch your friends shoot and enjoy
the BBQ with us.

The Special Forces Clays Committee is soliciting sponsorships and raffle items from local
businesses, sporting goods, hunting, shooting and firearms retailers and manufacturers to support the
event and to help fund our two supported charities. Defense contractors and others involved in defense of
our nation are encouraged to field teams and provide visible support to our men and families. We ask that
you please consider assisting by sponsoring the event at one of the following levels:
