Dear Race Participant,

Welcome to this year's Amain Cycling Chico Stage Race, Northern California's largest bike race,
featuring the Downtown Chico Criterium. Chico’s entire cycling community works together to host a
high quality event, run and supported exclusively by volunteers. Please be polite with our volunteers
and if you get a chance, thank them for their efforts to make the race happen. Big thanks also to our
great sponsors who are the force behind our great prize list for this year's event with over $10,000 in
cash and prizes.

The AMain Cycling Chico Stage Race attracts many spectators, especially at the Downtown Chico
Criterium. To ensure the continued existence of the race, we would like to leave a LASTING POSITIVE
impression on everyone attending this event. Please be on your best behavior since you are
representing our event, your team and cycling in general.

In addition to the USA Cycling Rulebook you are responsible for reading and following the rules set
forth in this technical guide.

The following items are of particular importance:

 Parking: Park only where indicated.

 Portable Toilets/Bathrooms: Please USE THEM!!! Nothing will get us kicked out of a venue
faster than using private property as a toilet.

Chico’s cycling community is committed to developing the Amain Cycling Chico Stage Race into one of
the top stage races in the United States. We thank you for your support, and want your feedback on
