Conclusion

In conclusion to the results retrieved by the researchers led them to different conclusions

regarding the survey. This includes the suggestion that students who take up the ABM strand know the

subject “Mathematics” well, ABM students think that males are more dominant than females, ABM

students know its usefulness and are mostly confident in their Mathematical abilities, ABM students

mostly like doing Mathematics but on the contrary, most of the ABM students the researchers have

surveyed have little to no motivation in doing Mathematics, ABM students mostly experience

Mathematics Anxiety.

Summarization

The summarization of this topic which is “Attitude of ABM students toward Mathematics” is that

students who take up the ABM strand are most likely to know the subject Mathematics well, ABM

students think that male and female genders are equal in thought process on the subject Mathematics,

ABM students know about its usefulness in the middle stages of life and are confident about their

Mathematical abilities and like doing Mathematics as well but, ABM students are lacking motivation in

doing Mathematics and most of them suffer from Mathematics Anxiety.’

Recommendation

The researchers recommend students to have a positive attitude towards Mathematics for them

to improve their performance to decrease the struggle of solving problems. The researches would also

like to recommend ABM student to join mathematical activities.
