exchange of data and information about Past Progressive Tense.
Indicator 1: Converse appropriately to use past progressive tense in various matter
and various situations in their daily life.
1. Concept: Past Progressive tense indicates continuing action, something that was
happening, going on, at some point in the past. Past progressive tense + when is
used when to indicate that a longer action or continuous action is interrupted by a
shorter one.
2. Objectives:
2.1 Terminal objective: Students should be able to use and make past progressive
tense.
2.2 Behavioral objectives:

2.2.1 Pronounce new expressions and sentences about.
2.2.2 Make good sentence by rearrange the words use jumble word.

4. Teaching and Learning Procedures


4.1 Pre-task
4.1.1 The teacher gives brain storming relate to the topic by giving example to
the students and ask them whether they can guess the lesson or not.
4.1.2 The teacher teaches new vocabularies and words relate to past progressive
and past progressive + when.

Past Progressive + when

Action 1: I was taking a shower.

4.2 Task Preparation


4.2.1 The teacher asks the students to be in a group consist of 5-6 students.
4.2.2 The teacher delivers the worksheet to the students (use jumble word).
4.2.3 The teacher gives instruction to the students (rearrange the sentences into
right form of past progressive sentence).

4.3 Task Realization


4.3.1 The teacher gives 7-8 minutes to the students to finish the task.
4.3.2 The teacher sees every group around.

4.4 Post-task
4.4.1 The teacher asks the group that finish the task for the first to read the answer
out loud.
4.4.2 The teacher and students discuss about the sentences that already arrange.
4.4.4 The teacher and the students review and summarize about the material that
already given today.
