Application Example:
Hydrofluoric acid is a highly toxic gas used
in semiconductor devices processing. In
the Hitran database, many transitions can
be identified which are suitable for optical
detection. For example, there are several
strong absorption lines in the 2500 nm
spectral region. Some of these strong
absorption lines in the 2500 nm regime
can be detected with a simple optical
absorption set-up.
