Quick Start Guide

Plugs into the diagnostic connector already built into all


1996 or newer cars and light trucks.
1. Quick Start Installation

● Locate your vehicle’s OBDII connector.


Generally under the dashboard on the left or
right side of the steering column.

● Choose a suitable location for the TurboGauge


and mount your TurboGauge using the supplied OBDII Connector
velcro strips.

● Route the cable from the TurboGauge to your


vehicle OBDII connector.

DO NOT mount the TurboGauge over an airbag


cover where it could be propelled by a
deploying airbag. Small end of the cable
connects to your TurboGauge.
● Connect the small end of the cable to your
TurboGauge.

● Start your vehicle or turn the ignition to the ON


position.

● Connect the large end of the cable to your


vehicle’s OBDII connector.

● Once connected with the vehicle running or the Large End of the cable
ignition in the ON position, your TurboGauge will connects to your vehicle.
display the LINKI ING screen for a few seconds, and
then switch to the HOME screen.

● When the HOME is displayed, your TurboGauge


is connected and has established communication
with your vehicle’s computer.
Proceed to the relative functions.

2. Basic Setup Options

It is important to setup your new HOME Screen


TurboGauge so that it may provide the
most accurate real-time data. SCAN GAUGE
TRIP REVIEW
This section outlines the basic setup
options which include the ENGINE and Press F button twice
FUEL parameters, for proper operation Sub-Screen
of your TurboGauge.

ENGINE SIZE: Use the Function UNIT TYPE


buttons (A, D) to increase or decrease

TANK SIZE: Use the Function buttons


(A, D) to increase or decrease the TANK SIZE
GALLONS shown unti it matches the

size of the fuel tank in your vehicle.
When you finish the setting, push the Tank Size SAVE
function button next to save.
3. Using Your TurboGauge

Your TurboGauge features an easy


to use menu driven design. Pushing
the button next to each selection will SCAN GAUGE
display that information. Pushing the TRIP REVIEW
ENTER / RETURN button will take you
enter the next / previous menu.
Push the Enter button to enter the Next Menu
Push the Return button to return to the Previous Menu

Push the function buttons to cycle through the


available Digital Gauges.

Use the built-in Digital Gauges 1180 RPM 7.2 MAP
The Function buttons next to each gauge allow

Using the Trip Computers TANK TOTAL
TurboGauge stores up to 4 set of trip status.
Select the relative trip status in Trip menu use

4. Calibrating Your TurboGauge
The accuracy of your TurboGauge can be improved by calibrating the fuel consumption Calibrating
your TurboGauge to accurately report fuel consumption is at least two steps process; first fill up
and your second fill up.
For more detail information about calibrating your fuel consumption as well as how tocalibrate your
TurboGauge to your vehicle s speed, please refer to the user manual.

Step 1-Your First Fill Up


HOME Screen
1) Use the reset funtion to reset the fuel

before fill up the tank for the first time.

the home screen, follow the sequence:

Economy) as well as Average LHK (Trip Fuel Economy) in realtime to help you adjust your driving
style to reach maximum fuel economy. So do time fuel economy(LPH ).

Start Learning to Save Fuel!
In the Current Trip, your TurboGauge is now ready to provide real-time feedback about your fuel
usage as you drive. This will allow you to see what adjustments in your driving style can be made
to actually raise or lower your Average LHK. Your goal is to bring up your Average LHK as high as
possible. To do this, try and adjust your driving style so that your Instant LHK reading is equal to or
higher than your Average LHK. Trip Fuel Cost ( $ ) will show you the total cost of the fuel used.
You can think it as a taxi meter.
