Structurel Qatar WLL (Jan-18 to present)

As SR. MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities:
 Check and Review the Shop Drawings and obtaining approval from Consultant. Supervision in
preparing shop drawings.
 Ensure compliance with contractual, technical matters and raise site clarification requests (RFI’s) for
missing data and discrepancies.
 Preparing the material submittals including the required schedules, compliance statements etc. and
follow up with the Consultant for approval.
 Preparation of all kind of Engineering calculations including hydraulic calculations, Load Calculations
and Fans/Air Handling equipment static pressure calculation etc.
 Site supervision of external area underground pre-insulated chilled water pipes, foul water service,
surface water, irrigation service, potable water fire service network.
 Studying the specification to know the project requirement to accomplish the project as per the
Consultant/ Client requirement.
 Carrying out works as per approved RAMS and QCS standards.
 Attending site meetings and coordination of works with other trades.
 Preparation of site requisitions for materials required for the project follow up for the LPO and
subsequently follow up for the material delivery from supplier and raising any issues regarding the
delivery to management.
