Magazine Proposal

Name of the magazine: Valiant interiors

I chose the name ‘valiant’ because this word is another way of saying bold or fearless, and that
is what the magazine will be about, all about experimenting with quirky colors and making
things come out of the ordinary.
Genre: Interior Design
This genre will break the stereotypical genre used for magazines in Pakistan and stand out from
the common to bring out more awareness about what really interior means and includes.
Dimensions: 8.5 x 11
I chose this size because it is the most common dimension used for a magazine, considering
trimming and binding later required.
Texture: Glossy
The glossy texture is the most common used in other interior magazine so I chose it because in
other words, it is more attractive too in the eyes of the readers or viewers.
Frequency: Quarterly
My magazine will be published seasonally based on the seasonal trends because every season
requires its own styling just as we ourselves adapt according to them
Circulation: Within Pakistan
The magazine will be circulate between Pakistan’s boundaries according to the need by
population
Weightage: 150-180 pages
The average of amount of pages in interior designing magazine is 200, so I will be keeping this
range then including reviews, guides, interviews and features.
Price: 800 rupees
Being an interior magazine, it has a lot of effort being put in in-terms of styling and creation but
at the same time affordable, so this price is neutral to both of these things at the same time
