Dear Admissions Committee Members:

It is with much pleasure and enthusiasm that I am writing to you to support the
candidacy of Anukul Dash for admission to the Computer Science Program at the
University of Manitoba.

I first met Anukul when he enrolled in my primary level course in Mathematics at

Oxford English Medium School. While he was studying, I was surprised by his
remarkable abilities of learning and grasping the essence of new ideas. Anukul
showed deep understanding of the subject and was given an excellent mark for
his performance.

Anukul’s penetrating mind allows him not only to grasp the basics of our
curriculum, but also to formulate highly original and persuasive interpretative
arguments. He demonstrates superb leadership and organizational skills in
leading group projects. He is also a humorous and engaging speaker, and has
presented at various conferences throughout the country.

I am thus convinced that Anukul will prove himself to be a valuable contributor to

your Computer Science Department. I strongly recommend him for
undergraduate studies towards B.Sc. degree at your University
