 1. Baground

The government will register pencaksilat a traditional martial art with the united nations

education This matrial art widely know in Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, and Thailand.

In Indonesia, which alone has hundreds of associations / colleges silat which consists of various

streams in various regions, where each region also has several different streams. This become a

very diverse Indonesian cultural wealth.

Students are young people who are active and creative to meet the need of the times, not

only engaged in intellectual fields, but also in the exploration of potential Talent interest in

extracurricular activities in the educational environment starts from elementary school up to the

University level. For the sake of preserving and maintaining the nation's culture, especially

tradition.

Our hope for this activity will emerge from Indonesian adult athletes potential and

quality while still upholding the Indonesian Nation and soul nationalism in culture and always

maintain sportsmanship, in accordance with our theme, namely: "CREATOR OF THE NATION

CULTURE FOR THE WORLD" martial arts pencaksilat, which is currently popular to the

world.
