As a first-year student at The west National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS)

Kolkata, it is with much enthusiasm that I write to apply for a summer internship
position during dates 1st of May to 30th of May 2019.
Internships are integral for a law student to develop a practical understanding of the
profession. An opportunity to intern at your chambers would be an enriching experience
and fulfil my eagerness to learn and contribute to the work.

I had a chance to learn the basics of legal drafting and research as a member of
university moot team which participated in XYZ moot/Moot internals/ NUJS law review/
SACJ or any other society which you can associate or your project topics.I am currently
working with OUR WAYS, a legal startup promoting Mediation as an Alternate Dispute
Resolution mechanism in India/ MCS/ LDS any other society indicating organizational
exp.

I am sure interning at your prestigious chambers will help me improve my skill sets and
