EXPERIENCE

LIFEGAURD, PLY-MAR
 Distributed first aid to those who received minor or serious injuries while at the club.
 Protected the occupants by supervising events and by observing the pool for those who
need help.
 Maintained the pool’s cleanliness by collecting trash left by the occupants and by
skimming the pool of leaves and other debris.

 Allowed the swim coaches to perform their intended duty’s by keeping the pool deck
clear thereby allowing the coaches to work uninhibited
 Ensured the safety of the swimmers by monitoring the activities in the pool and by
keeping the deck clean
 Enforced the rules of the pool by keeping those who should not be on the deck off of it,
and by reminding the swimmers of the rules when they are broken

 Assisted a fellow student in her studies by quizzing her on the material at hand and by re-
teaching subjects that she failed to understand during the lecture
 Improved a fellow student’s grade from a D to a B by acting as a support and a friend
through the trials of her courses.
 Formed a trusting relationship with the tutee by not acting as a superior, but as an
adviser and as a friend

multitude of science and math courses, all which I have passed with A’s

ACTIVITIES
I have been on the swim team for the last three years, and have been on the top team for the last two.
The last two years I have also qualified for Districts swimming, and made it to states as a sub for the
team relays. I have also been a lead member in the Ultimate team. Last year I was the treasurer of the
club, and the captain of the JV team. This year I have been promoted to the president of the club, along
with now serving as the captain of the varsity team. I also serve as a high school mentor for my local
swim club, where I lead the younger kids and help them learn the strokes and meet edict.
