ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Airman First Class Marco A. Sanchez Heredia distinguished himself by outstanding
achievement as Honor Guardsman, McConnell Honor Guard, 22d Force Support Squadron,
22d Mission Support Group, 22d Air Refueling Wing, McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas.
During this period, the outstanding professional skill, leadership, and ceaseless efforts of
Airman Sanchez Heredia resulted in major contributions to the effectiveness and success of
the 22d Air Refueling Wing’s Honor Guard Program. He performed in 28 Honor Guard
details where he accumulated 104 hours of dedicated service which encompassed wing and
local functions. Additionally, Airman Sanchez Heredia's razor-sharp precision and
professionalism led to his selection as a member of the Color Guard for the Wichita Veterans
Day parade. Finally, he treated the nations fallen with the greatest dignity and respect while
he performed 20 military funeral honors ceremonies. The distinctive accomplishments of
Airman Sanchez Heredia reflect credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
