Project Management courses at Bangor University

North Wales Business Academy at Bangor University offers courses that develop and build on
practical project management skills and cover tools, techniques and practices used on projects.

1) ‘Applying project management in the workplace‘ – developing your plan

2) ‘Effective project delivery’ – executing and controlling project work

The first course focuses on core principles of project management practice and how to plan a
project. The second builds upon the planning and covers execution and control of a project.

Each course is 3 days in class plus a practical assignment to take the techniques and processes
back into your workplace. Electronic templates are provided to support your application of the
techniques and processes in your workplace.

These courses have been developed and are delivered by an experienced international project
management practitioner to reflect practice that enables successful projects.

Next dates:

Applying project management in the workplace: 7th / 14th / 21st March

Effective project delivery: 9th / 16th / 23rd May

Effective Project Delivery is a follow on course and should only be undertaken on completion of
the Applying Project Management in the Workplace course.

These courses are funded up to 70%

Cost: £150 - £250; depending on the size of your business.
