The drought is over

It was the final home match of the season for the Scotties
when they hosted Havre in a dual back on Tuesday, January
8th. When the final match was over, fans trickled out of the
GHS gymnasium while the wrestlers rolled up the mats. The
night was over, and everyone can go home now, right? Wrong!
Approximately 30 Glasgow Wrestling Club members filed
into the Glasgow Wrestling Room, followed by Glasgow High
School Athletic Director Brenner Flaten (pictured above with
Kohl Kittleson, standing is Theo Anderson) and the workout
and training session began. It’s all about rebuilding a wrestling
program that dominated the last decade. If you look at the
individual Scotty titlists, 2013-2018 is the longest span to put a
name on the wall. But that drought is now over as Colten Fast
and Dylan Nieskens is added to the list. Watch for the Scotties
to start racking up some more state titles beginning in the year
2020. It’s going to be exciting. If you’d like to help build the the
