WONDERFUL GRACE OF JESUS -----------------------24
O WORSHIP THE KING
1. O worship the King, all glorious
above, and gratefully sing His pow’r
and His love; Our Shield and
Defender, the Ancient of Days,
pavilioned in splendor and girded
with praise.
2. O tell of his might, O sing of His
grace, whose robe is the light, whose
canopy space; His chariots of wrath
the deep thunder-clouds form, and
dark is His path on the wings of the
storm.
3. Thy bountiful care what tongue
can recite? It breathes in the air, it
shines in the light; It streams from
the hill, it descends to the plain, and
sweetly distills in the dew and the
rain.
4. Frail children of dust, and feeble
as frail, in Thee do we trust, nor find
Thee to fail; Thy mercies how tender!
How firm to the end! Our Maker,
Defender, Redeemer, and Friend.

I SING THE MIGHTY POWER

OF GOD
1. I sing the mighty pow’r of God
that made the mountains rise, that
spread the flowing seas abroad and
built the lofty skies. I sing the
wisdom that ordained, the sun to
rule the day; The moon shines full at
His command, and all the stars obey.
2. I sing the goodness of the Lord
that filled the earth with food; He
formed the creatures with His word
and them pronounced them good.
Lord, how Thy wonders are
displayed, where’er I turn my eye: If
I survey the ground I tread or gaze
upon the sky!
3. There’s not a plant or flow’r
below but makes Thy glories known;
And clouds arise and tempests blow,
by order from Thy throne; While all
that borrows life from Thee, is ever
in Thy care, And everywhere that
man can be, Thou, God, art present
there.

BLESSED BE THE NAME

1. All praise to Him who reigns
above In majesty supreme, Who
gave His Son for man to die, That He
might man redeem!
CHORUS: Blessed be the name,
blessed be the name, Blessed be
the name of the Lord! Blessed be
Blessed be the name of the LORD!
2. His name above all names shall
stand, exalted more and more, At
God the Father’s own right hand,
Where angel hosts adore.
3. Redeemer, Savior, Friend of man
Once ruined by the fall, Thou hast
devised salvation’s plan, For Thou
hast died for all.
4. His name shall be Counselor, The
mighty Prince of Peace, Of all earth’s
kingdoms Conqueror, Whose reign
shall cease.

HOW GREAT THOU ART!

1. O Lord my God, when I in
awesome wonder Consider all the
worlds Thy hands have made, I see
the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy pow’r throughout the universe
displayed!
CHORUS: Then sings my soul,my
Savior God, to Thee; How great
Thou art, how great Thou art! Then
sings my soul, my Savior God, to
Thee; How great Thou art, how
great Thou art!
2. When thru the woods and forest
glades I wander And hear the birds
sing sweetly in the trees, When I
look down from lofty mountain
grandeur And hear the brook and
feel the gentle breeze,
3. And when I think that God, His
Son not sparing, sent Him to die, I
scarce can take it in- that on the
cross, my burden gladly bearing, He
bled and died to take away my sin!
4. When Christ shall come with
shout of acclamation And take me
home, what joy shall fill my heart!
Then I shall bow in humble
adoration And there proclaim, my
God, how great Thou art!

AMAZING GRACE
1. Amazing grace how sweet the
sound That saved a wretch like me! I
once was lost but now am found,
Was blind but now I see.
2. 'Twas grace that taught my heart
to fear, And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
3. Thru many dangers, toils and
snares I have already come; 'Tis
grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
4. When we've been there ten
thousand years, Bright shining as the
sun, We've no less days to sing God's
praise Than when we'd first begun.

JOYFUL, JOYFUL, WE ADORE

THEE
1. Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee, God
of glory, Lord of love; Hearts unfold
like flow’rs before Thee, Hail Thee as
the sun above. Melt the clouds of sin
and sadness, Drive the dark of doubt
away;Giver of immortal gladness, Fill
us with the light of day!
2. All Thy works with joy surround
Thee, Earth and heav’n reflect Thy rays,
Stars and angels sing around Thee,
Center of unbroken praise; Field and
forest, vale and mountain, Bloss’ming
meadow, flashing sea, Chanting bird
and flowing fountain Call us to rejoice
in Thee.
3. Thou art giving and forgiving, Ever
blessing, ever blest, Well spring of the
joy of living, Ocean-depth of happy
rest! Thou the Father, Christ our
Brother- All who live in love are Thine:
Teach us how to love each other, Lift
us to the joy divine.
4. Mortals, join the mighty chorus
Which the morning stars begun;
Father-love is reigning o’er us,
Brother-love binds man to man. Ever
singing, march we onward, Victors in
the midst of strife; Joyful music lifts us
sun-ward In the triumph song of life.
GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS
1. Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my
Father! There is no shadow of turning
with Thee; Thou changest not, Thy
compassions, they fail not: As Thou
hast been Thou forever wilt be.
Chorus: Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness! Morning by
morning new mercies I see; All I have
needed Thy…….
2. Summer and winter, and
spring-time and harvest, Sun, moon
and stars in their courses above, Join
with all nature in manifold witness To
Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
3. Pardon for ’sin and a peace that
endureth, Thine own dear presence to
cheer and to guide, Strength for today
and bright hope for tomorrow-
Blessings all mine, with ten thousands
beside!

AND CAN IT BE THAT I

SHOULD GAIN?
1. And can it be that I should gain An
int’rest in the Savior’s blood? Died He
for me, who caused His pain? For me,
who Him to death pursed?
Chorus: Amazing love! How can it be
That Thou, my God, shouldst die for
me? Amazing love! How can it be
That Thou, my God, shouldst die for
me?
2. He left His Father’s throne above,
So free, so infinite His grace! Emptied
Himself of all but love, and bled for
Adam’s helpless race.

in my Lord’s and He is mine; Alive in
Him, my living Head, And clothed in
righteousness divine.

hour- What but Thy grace can foil the
tempter’s pow’r? Who like Thyself my

day; he leads me beside the still
waters, He guards me each step of the

THE LOVE OF GOD

1. The love of God is greater far than
tongue or pen can ever tell. It goes
beyond the highest star and reaches to
the lowest hell. The guilty pair, bowed
down with care, God gave His Son to
win; His erring child He reconciled and
pardoned from his sin.
Refrain: O love of God, how rich and
pure! How measureless and strong! It
shall forevermore endure- The saints’
and angels’ song.
2. When hoary time shall pass away,
And earthly thrones and kingdoms fall;
When men who here refuse to pray,
On rocks and hills and mountains call;
God’s love, so sure, shall still endure,
All measureless and strong;
Redeeming grace to Adam’s race- The
saints’ and angels’ song.
3. Could we ink the ocean fill, And
were the skies of parchment made;
Were every stalk on earth a quill, And
every man a scribe by trade; To write
the love of God above would drain the
ocean dry; Nor could the scroll contain
the whole, Though stretched from sky
to sky.
