PURPOSE:
To ensure metal detector is calibrated properly.

SCOPE:
This process involves mix plant operators.

PROCEDURE:
Before running finished product through the metal detector at the start of day,
run the 2 test samples and record the results in the metal detector log book.

Report any deviation to operations and quality control.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mix plant operator to do check and keep record at shift start.
Operations Manager in the event of a fail - to arrange for detector to be serviced.
