This document is a proposed amendment to a Senate bill. The amendment seeks to limit the president's ability to designate national monuments in Utah by modifying an existing law. Specifically, it would amend the Antiquities Act of 1906 to prevent the extension or establishment of national monuments in Utah without congressional approval, similar to the restrictions that already apply in Wyoming. The amendment is sponsored by Senator Mike Lee of Utah.
