There is no theory Paper for these subject only two files –Sessional Diary and Field Work Diary to be
made, besides VIVA on practical date.
GUIDELINES REGARDING PROJECT FILE
Sessional Diary. (Containing not less than 100 pages)‐One has to take all 10 mentioned
topics of syllabus, and write 8‐10 pages for each topic viz

2. Reforms in Legal System
3. ADR‐Objectives, Meaning and Advantages
4. Types Of ADR
5. Lok Adalat
6. Arbitration Agreement ,Arbitral Tribunal
7. Arbitral Proceeding
8. Arbitral Award
9. Conciliation
10. Mediation
Notes regarding these topics are also uploaded on college website. Refer to them. Otherwise
refer to books mentioned below.

b) Field Work Diary –It is advisable for students to visit Mediation Centres and Lok
Adalats to gain practical knowledge about the subject.
Also mention Proceedings in your own language of any two of the following (in 5‐8 pages each
making total Pg Nos. of field work diary equivalent to 10‐15 pages):

SIZE OF PAPER
Only Plane A4 sheet paper to be used.
INDEX SHEET
It can be handwritten or printed, preferably printed.
Proper page no. should be indicated.
It is mandatory to include Index Sheet.
CONTENTS PAGE
Pages should be properly numbered.
No Of Pages: not to be less than 100 pages.
Take 10 topics from syllabus, with each topic covering not less than 8‐10 pages.
Binding: only Spiral Binding
SIDE MARGINS:
Space for side margins should be left on all sheets, however no lines for same should be
drawn or printed –anywhere in file.
Left‐1.5 inch
Right‐1 inch
Top‐1 inch(however if on a page ,a new topic/chapter starts then TOP MARGIN is to be 1.5
inch)
BOTTOM ‐1 inch
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Type of Paper
1. All Sheets should be plane white
2. No side margins should be present or drawn.
3. Paper should be plane A4 without any lines.
4. No decorative papers are to be used.
5. All hand written file made on a simple A4 sheet is preferred.
Dividers
Dividers between two topics if included should be on a plain white A4 paper, not on
coloured papers.
• Get your file checked , from Subject Teacher or Sir Tarun Kaushik, HOD
• On the date of practical and VIVA( 20 marks),bring project file, duly checked and signed by
subject teacher or HOD –Mr. Tarun Kaushik
• Come in proper Advocate’s uniform.
• Before giving VIVA, clear all dues of current semester from college.
