COMPANY PROFILE

History of Pierre & Paul Solutions Inc.

Pierre & Paul Solutions Inc. was buit May 2011 by a group of five long-
time friends. Those friends had their same vision of responsibility and mutual
respect. They do believe that this can be achieved by creating a working
environment that encourages creativity, self-development, discipline and
determination.

The group planned and worked hard together for a period of time just to
achieve their dream. The company was named after the company President's
sons John Pierre and Jonathan Paul. They decided to put up the company at
Shaw Boulevard for this is one of the most visited places of jobseekers. It is the
center of Ortigas and Makati where most large BPO companies are located.

Through the years, we have steadily grown, PPSI was opened in March
2017, we have acquired assets and equipment, we have gained experience
which we would need to attain our ultimate vision and mission, not only in Metro
Manila but also in Visayas. Aside from working professionally, it is very important
that our service is personalized and efficient especially for the job seekers. We
would want them to know and feel that we value their time.
As we continue our mission, to become the company that is both reliable,
reputable and exceeds the expectations and demands of our prestigious
business partners through changing times and to be the company that provides
career oppurtunities nationwide. It will be fulfilling to leave something that will last
more than our lifetime, something that we have worked hard for. By this, we will
achieve the highest levels of satisfaction, as we will do everything we can to
meet our client's expectations. PPSI continues its journey to progress and
expand its business to other parts of the Philippines.

ORGANIZATIONAL CHART
WEEK 1 (narrative)

PPSI - IT Department – my assigned office to conduct my On-the-Job

Training. On my first day of training, I felt nervous and excited as well because of

different environment and the new people surrounding me. I didn’t have any idea

of what kind of people they are and it made me adjust myself with their

personalities and attitudes.

Since that my supervisor is busy doing something, one of the employee of

PPSI accompanied me to my table where I will be staying during my On-the-Job

Training. During that moment, I felt like I was really in an office wearing a formal

dress, especially having my own office chair and table. Since that I don’t know

what to do, one of my co-ojt teaches me on how to do a sourcing. It took at least

first three days in doing sourcing since that I do not have project on those days.

My first week was really a good start and I was motivated to perform

excellently because of what I have already accomplished and because of my

Supervisor who is very accommodating and kind to me and to my co-trainee.


WEEK 2 (narrative)

On my second week of On-the-Job training, PPSI IT Department

Supervisor asks me if I know how to use Photoshop, since that I know some a

little bit about Photoshop I said, yes. IT Supervisor told me to do some templates

that are going to use in sourcing. One of my POC gives some information to be

put or edited in Photoshop. I am doing Photoshop and sourcing as well for this

entire week.

On my second week of OJT I felt bless and thankful as well since that

they teach me more about Photoshop, and I gained more information or

knowledge in Editing using Photoshop


WEEK 3 (narrative)

My third week of On-the-Job Training, In my first day of my third week of

OJT. I have done sourcing and doing template and I felt like so exciting since that

I heard from the other interns that PPSI are going to teach there interns a new

platform in developing website which is the laravel 5. They teach us which is the

new interns some basic html since that before using laravel 5, we should at least

know the basic html. They give us some exams which are to develop a simple

website using basic html and on that day I felt like down because I get the lowest

score on that exam.

After that they give us an assignment which is to develop a website and in

a different category and my category is all about cars. I am thankful since that

PPSI are so interesting company and especially my Supervisor, She give us

some time on teaching on us about html.


WEEK 4 (narrative)

In this week, my supervisor gives us a project which is to develop a

website about Ayala Land Premiere and we are going to use the Laravel 5

platform. I felt so nervous on that day, they told me to do my project since that

there are consequences when I could not do the project within my OJT hours

which is 300 hours, the main consequence is they will not give a Certificate of

Completion without the complete project of Ayala Land Premiere website.

Since that I do not have choice, I studied laravel 5 and for me it is quietly

difficult to understand but I studied forcing to understand the laravel 5 since that I

can ask to my supervisor when I felt difficulties in Laravel 5. For the entire week I

learn a little bit about laravel 5 and I can compare it to a php. I am thankful that I

learn another platform in developing website.


WEEK 5 (narrative)

In this week, I do sourcing in a morning session keep recruiting some

applicants in a different Facebook page, posting some information about

recruitment using Facebook. One of the employee ask me if I want to take an

interview to an applicants since that I have no choice I suddenly said yes and

they teach me on how to interview before I go to a final interview to an

applicants. On the other day I finally the one to interview the applicant I felt so

nervous as well since that the main language that is going to use English and the

fact is I am not good in English communication.

I am doing my website in Ayala Land Premiere as well, in developing

website using laravel 5, for the past few weeks in studying laravel for me laravel

is still a hard platform since that it is connected as PHP but I am adopting it as

well.

WEEK 8 (narrative)

In this week, since that summer is already end up and my OJT hours are

not yet over, this time I could not go to my OJT every day because I have my

class schedule now. My supervisor already knows it and she give me some

consideration. Only Monday is my available day on going to OJT.

My only day of this week and I am doing sourcing on that day and

continuation of Ayala Land website.


WEEK 9 (narrative)

In this week, since that I have given already my class schedule to my

supervisor, She give me a schedule for my OJT which only Friday and I don’t

have any class on Thursday go to PPSI for my OJT to complete my OJT hours

as soon as possible. On those days, I have done souring which is to recruit some

applicants and I am so happy on that day because one of my applicants I have

been recruited is now finally coming to our office and sad to say It didn’t passed

the interview.

My only day of this week and I am doing sourcing on that day and

continuation of Ayala Land website.


WEEK 10 (narrative)

In this week, since that I have given already my class schedule to my

supervisor, To complete my OJT hours as soon as possible I go to the company

every Friday since that interns are not allowed to keep on getting absent. On

those days, I have done souring which is to recruit some applicants and I am so

happy on that day because one of my applicants I have been recruited is now

finally coming to our office and sad to say It didn’t passed the interview.

My only day of this week and I am doing sourcing on that day and

continuation of Ayala Land website.

WEEK 13 (narrative)

In this week, to complete my OJT hours as soon as possible I go to the

company every Friday since that intern are not allowed to keep on getting

absent. My supervisor said to me that my remaining time for being an intern is

only 12 hours to finish. She said to me, comply my requirements to the company

before the time is over and I have done it for the entire day.

Since that I have already finished my website or project, my supervisor

said to me that I am going to put the file or burn in out to the CD as my project to

the company.
WEEK 14 (narrative)

In this week, I have done sourcing and in this week that I have already

finished my website or project, I have already burn the file to the CD as my

project to the company.


WEEK 15 (narrative)

This is it, my last week of my internship. As part of the IT Department I am

so bless and thankful since that I have learned some basics to advanced web

development. I do some projects with the other intern as part of my training with

the guide of my supervisor. I also learn some troubleshooting techniques and

methodologies. In this day I do some sourcing.


Learning’s

In more than a month in staying in the company, I have learned so many

things not just only that is related to my course but also the things that build me

into a person that who I am right now. As I was working as an intern at PPSI, I

learned to become more progressive and diligent person. Working with you has

taught me more about programming. Aside from that you trained me to be more

sociable and how to adjust myself in the environment that was both exciting and

challenging.

As I move forward to my professional endeavors. I will apply those

problems that I encountered which is for me is just a challenge into my future

career. I can only hope that I can find my full time employment with a firm that is

as competent as PPSI.

I will miss the relationships I’ve formed over the last few months.

Especially to the employees that help and teach us techniques and ways about

our course and about life that’s why I’m thankful that I had to meet people like

them.
Conclusion

Training empowers people to improve their lives. Therefore, by training

you can learn and experience many things not just by your course but also in life.

But not all you have learned in school may apply in your actual work.

This On-the-Job Training served as a way to achieve my dream to

become a Programmer and or I.T. Consultant in the near future. Even in the

short period of training I was able to learn such things like office manners,

capacity to adjust in new environment, boost my confidence and communicate

well on others. I was really renewed.

These are all the few things that I learned during my internship in PPSI. I

can say that I have to continue to learn especially in the I.T field. I am really

inspired and I notice that I should not limit myself to the knowledge and skills that

I already have right now. I realized that this world of technologies is so huge.

I conclude that my knowledge and skills enhanced and developed. As I

continue in life this may serve as my strength to become successful in life.

As an intern, one must follow the rules and regulations of the company.

The individual must have the same vision and mission and one must follow the

dress code and mannerism inside the office.

Being part of the Operations (OPS)

Intern was assigned to do sourcing/posting in Facebook, encourage

people to go here and apply in different account. They also assist applicants for

TQ which definitely explained how the company system works. They also

interview some applicants.

Being part of the IT Department

As part of the IT Department they provide websites to their clients. The

intern will learn some basics to advanced web development. He will do some

projects with the other intern as part of our training with the guide of their

supervisor. He will also learn some troubleshooting techniques and

methodologies.
