The flood
Flood Fury
He made all dark
People awoke as usual,on August 15,2018,
Everything and everywhere
But nature had planned a surprise,
Without leaving a pinch
Violent rains had ripped,
Of brightness and Happiness
The God’s own Country as a whole.
The common man’s asset
When the water arose, to show its power, His home was swiped
Some ran to and fro,some stay trapped, Without leaving a sign
Fear and helplessness caste its shadow, That once it was his
Over a much green and happy land.
The flood who took
When the water arose,to show its power, Everything from us
The rivers overflowed,drowning the houses, Our family,Our happiness
Showing us that even a castle, And our life time hardwork our
Can tumble down like an anthill. home

When the water arose, to show its power, Oh god! Please give back
Central and State Armed forces, Once was our
Fisherfolk and people at large, But there was nothing
Emerged as heroes,for those in peril. Because he took everything
