Activity 1 – Around the Box

- Split the class into two teams
- Students line up behind the goal
- Onside of the box works before the other starts
- Students play the ball from the six yard box to the edge of the 18 yard box
- Student receives before playing the student at the top of the box
- Student then passes the ball to the student on the edge of the D
- Student on the edge of the D drops the ball so the student running through can get a
shot on goal
Activity 2 – Crossing and Finishing
- Students split themselves up either side of the goal
- Students cross from one side before flipping to the other side
- Students focus should be on “sliding” the ball across the box
- And the students trying to score should be focusing on putting the ball into the goal
1st time
- After 4 minutes swap the crosses and shooters
- Repeat above

Activity 3 – Golden Child

- Split the class into two team
- Students line up behind the penalty spot the other behind the goal
- Students must shoot the ball between the post and cone before calling out stop to
stop the runner from running
- Students keep filling through until the opposing team are out and then the teams
swap
