1. What do we want?

Around the world, young men and women are standing up for the right of all young minds to
have access to a good quality education. That’s why I advocate towards better education
services. Education gives us knowledge of the world around us and changes it into something
better. It develops in us a perspective of looking at life. It helps us build opinions and have
points of view on things in life. That’s why advocates are working to ensure that all children and
youth have access to a high quality education that prepares them to lead healthy and
productive lives and contribute to their communities and countries.

2. Who can make it happen?

Everyone can be a part of this advocacy, in particular on coalitions with youth bodies by
participating and putting strenuous efforts to spread the goals to the world. Specially by the
collaboration of public and private sectors (DEPED, DILG, Foundations, Sponsors), grounded
in the belief that the fruits of this endeavour can widely be a handful factor in making this
advocacy possible.

3. What do they need to hear?

Education develops the capabilities to fight the injustice, violence, corruption and other
factors. Just as a face is the mirror of the heart, level of education develops the status of
the nation. Our system is like that rich students get more and more education and poor
will not. Education in nowadays becomes more costly such that poor parents of the
most talented student cannot even think of getting their wards admitted into such
institute. We need a system that will provide equal opportunity to both rich and poor
students that can contribute to the development of the country. By providing education,
we remove the poverty and every person in the country will become successful and
provides their contribution to developing their country. Hence we can easily conclude
that for an evolution of a country, there is need of education, we have to change the
person's mind and make a country a developed country. That’s why education should be
a right to all the youths.

4. Who do they need to hear it from?

From the coalitions of different youth bodies- SK federation head honourable (pangalan ng sk
Chairman ng anao) and of course from the head promoter of this advocacy. Everyone can speak
for the welfare of youths who seek for education since everyone has equal freedom of speech.

5. How can we make sure they hear it?

Advocacy is about making sure everyone knows what is important to you. Advocacy can be
helpful in situations where you need other people to listen to you and take your views into
account.
The goals can be taken into account through dissemination of information using the largest
platform of information ‘the social networking sites’. These platforms are like virtual voices
that can be heard and has the key role in influencing people.
6. What do we have? As perpetrators, we have continued collaboration, determination,
vision and a spirit of unity regardless of being lack of financial support from different
sectors.

7. What do we need?
We need support not just financially but also support to escalate the advocates of this
advocacy “EDUCATION FOR YOUTHS” . We need mutual education goals to the hole of
ignorance and open the world of infinite possibilities. We also need numerous social
media influencers to spread the advocacy through the use of social media platforms
(facebook, twitter, youtube, Instagram and etc.)

8. How do we begin to take action?

First, we have to set our goals and plans with the use of brain map or any graphic organizer.
Next is letting the higher ups know our advocacy in order for them to give support in
making the “education for youths possible”
Next is the part where ICT play a great part, with the use of technology like Internet, cellular
phones, computers or gadgets- information in social networking sites can reach to millions
of people because modern mass media has taken into knew heights.
Lastly is gathering support to make this all happen- putting all the visions into actions.

9. How can we tell if it’s working?

We can tell if it’s working if we gained many advocates and supports from public and
private sector. Steps by step, closer and closer, all the youths will look upward on their
future and hold on to their right of proper education. More advocates will step up to
promote the power and significance of education, and how it can change the world for
good.
