There are too many explorers but not enough time to go over every single one of them! Your
task is to choose an explorer and create a “Funko Pop” themed design that showcases the
explorer. The Funko Pop outline is where you will design, craft, and write about your chosen
explorer and eventually share to the class.

In order to showcase your explorer, you will need to perform research and explore the following:
● Background Information (Where they are from? Sponsors? Where did they go?
Achievements?)
● Clothing (What did they wear, any type of accessories)
● Anyone they interacted with (Good or Bad)
● Special items or mementos

On your Funko Pop worksheet, you will need to do the following:

1. You will be assigned an Explorer and perform the following:
Biography​ – include physical traits, personality traits and their overall
significance to World History. Need to have a concise biography that fits in
the section.
2. Accessories​ - must have three that are logical and relevant to that
character
3. “Collect them all!​” - Put other historical figures relevant to this person in
their corresponding region and provide a caption
4. Must have color, be historically accurate

On March 8th, we will have a gallery walk and you will take notes on other students explorers.
