Sisterly Love

Hi Bayan, today when we went outside Teacher Lynda out you in a swing and
started to push you. Teacher Lynda got distracted by another child and she
went to sort it out. Zahra, who was standing beside you, started pushing you. As
she pushed you, she began to sing a little song to you, and you began to sing as
well.

After a few minutes, another child came over and wanted to push you in the
swing. Zahra told the other child “she’s my sister and wants me to push her”.
The other child went around to the back of the swing and started to push you.
This made Zahra sad, and Teacher Lynda gave her a cuddle to make her feel
better. Teacher Lynda talked to Zahra and the other child and together they
decided they could both push you on the swing, Zahra at the front and the
other child at the back.

Well Being/Mana Atua:

Children experience an environment where their emotional well-being is

nurtured. Over time and with guidance and encouragement, children will become
increasingly capable of managing themselves and expressing their feelings and
needs.
