It is my pleasure to write this letter to recommend Ms. Danielle McCormick for a teaching position in your
district. Ms. McCormick worked as a student teacher in my classroom in the winter of 2018. In that time, I have
watched her become an exemplary teacher in all facets.

Ms. McCormick demonstrates a passion and enthusiasm for teaching and for her students on a daily basis. I
have watched her design and implement lesson plans that engage a class full of students with a variety of
disabilities, reaching them each at their level. She has expertly navigated the difficult behaviors of students
with emotional impairments, showing poise and calm while working to find the root of the student behavior.
Ms. McCormick has done an outstanding job building relationships with not just her student but students
across the school building.

Ms. McCormick has also been an outstanding coworker and team member. She has developed strong
relationships with her colleagues and shows a willingness and desire to work collaboratively. She has also
shown a willingness to grow, ready accepting feedback and criticism and modifying her practice as a result.
She came to me frequently with questions both big and small, showing a growth mindset and a continued
desire to master her craft.

Working with Ms. McCormick has been a great joy and privilege. Her drive and enthusiasm will continue to
serve her well as she becomes a teacher leader. I wholeheartedly recommend for any teaching position and
know that she will be a great asset to your organization.
