For consideration is accused-appellant's Motion for

Reconsideration filed on 04 October 2017, with Comment filed by
plaintiff-appellee Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) on 25 September
2018.

The grounds relied upon by the accused-appellant in his Motion

for Reconsideration of Our Decision3 dated 31 August 2017 have been
amply treated, discussed and/or passed upon in arriving at said
Decision sought to be reconsidered. The Court, therefore, finds no cogent
reason to modify much less reverse its own decision.

WHEREFORE, the instant motion for reconsideration is hereby

DENIED for lack of merit.
