Contesting for the post of Financial Secretary NAAT KASU BRANCH

MY MANIFESTO
The creation of National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT) is to protect, defend and
promote the rights, well-being and interests of all workers in the union through its programs and other
schedules such as NAAT Investment and the rest. For that, I decided to contest for the post of
FINANCIAL SECRETARY, because I believe the progress of this great union lies on trustworthy,
hardworking and incorruptible leaders.
However, it is on that note I am seeking for your mandate to be among such leaders that will lead this
great union to a greater height.
I promise to be transparent and accountable to all members of NAAT KASU if given mandate as
financial secretary.
I will be dedicated to the duties of financial secretary to the best of my ability as sipulated in the
NAAT constitution. I shall do so as follows:

 Keeping an accurate record of all receipts and payment authorisations for the Treasurer’s
financial records.
 Giving or issuing of receipts for all monies received for the association and deposit in the
NAAT account and give a copy of the deposit slip to the Treasurer for the association’s
records.
 Assisting in preparation of financial report to the Executive meetings and to the Congress
when due.
 Perform such other duties as may be delegated to the financial secretary by the Chairman or
as may be agreed in the Congress.
In conclusion, I hope our union will be strong and united for better.
United we bargain, divided we beg.
