SCIENCE FAIR

PHASE 3
Diego Alejandro Cosma
Timeline Summary
The phase 3 began on February 1, 2019, that day, Mr Lucho explained us that these pages were treated, the same
Friday we decided which person brought each material and how much I needed to bring. Our parents had to
approve with the teacher.

Once we had brought the materials, we began to say what we were going to do with the experiment and we did a
statistical worksheet on how to make bar graphs of lines on a pie chart. We took notes on the steps that were
taken to carry out . All the materials were already in class and we started to raise the base of the project. We made
the model with Mr Lucho.
We was finding organic garbage to use in the experiment, and after that We pick up the garbage and put it in two
bags. We was weight the garbage with a newton meter and it was equivalent to 1.3 Kgs and the fertilizer was
weight too.

We was weight the garbage again with a newton meter and it was equivalent to 1.3 Kgs
All the garbage were crushed, and when The garbage was decomposed we stired the garbage.

We put the fertilizer into the trash can, we cover the trash and seal it, and we was waiting that
the garbage generate Biogas. We was waiting that the biogas were generated. Finally took the
Biogas were generated and the bomb inflated.

Quantitative / Qualitative
Quantitative Qualitative

The qualitative of my science project is:

• Garbage Weight: 1.30 Kg / 1.35 Kg • organic waste from the cafeteria
• Ferlitizer Weight: 1.25 Kg / 1.30 Kg • In that trash were the following foods:
• Total Weight: 2.55 Kg / 2.65 Kg • Chicken
• Biogas: 0 / 0.05 Kg / 0.50 Kg • Meat
• Spinach Pie
• Lemon
• Plums
• Desserts
• Rice
• Carrot
• Arverja
• When we crushed the food everything was wet and very
disgusting .When we checked the garbage was full of white
mushrooms and smelled disgusting. The fertilizer was brown
with yellow dots. The bomb was white, the PVP tube was white
with a blue key and the trash can was blue with a black cap.
CONCLUSION

The conclusion of my science project is:

This project has been very interested. We can prove our hypothesis, we can
decompose the waste, using organic garbage and fertilizer and we generate
biogas!!!

This was awesome!!!!
