I am applying for the entry level public relations position. I learned of this opportunity through my
instructor for public relations writing at Texas State University: Jordon Brown. I am a senior at Texas State
majoring in public relations with an expected graduation date of Summer 2019.

I am interested in this position because I am hungry for the opportunity to gain working experience in the
PR industry and join a young and constantly growing company. Specifically, I am interested in working
with clients in the hospitality industry. I have had the opportunity to work alongside professionals in the
hospitality industry during my time at The Steamery Inc. as a contractor and I have gained an interest in the
field. As you will see in my resume, which I have enclosed, I have been working directly for a hotel in
downtown Austin for the past few months and I am excited to learn more about how to effectively market
and build a strong brand for similar clients.
