EDRALIN MARCOS
2. Please be informed that about 7:00 P.M. of December 27, 2017, a concerned citizen reported to this
Station that a shooting incident transpired at B10 L35, Central Plain Subdivision, Tres de Mayo, Digos
City wherein the victim was identified as one FERDINAND EDRALIN MARCOS, 46 years old, married, and
a resident of B10 L35, Central Plain Subdivision, Tres de Mayo, Digos City.
3. Immediately, Patrollers and QUAD Staff of this Police Station led by PSI JUAN PONCE ENRILE, Officer-
in-Charge, were dispatched to the said place to conduct ocular investigation. 4. At the crime scene, a
gun holster was recovered but there were no empty bullet shells. There is high probability that a
revolver type of gun was used.
5. Initial investigation disclosed that at about 6:00 o’clock in the evening of the December 27, 2017,
while the victim was opening the gate of their house to get inside the garage, he was gunned down by
two unidentified persons on a motorcycle. The motorcycle stopped in front of the victim’s house, and
the gunman ran towards the direction of the victim, pulled a gun and shot him twice. The gunman then
hurriedly went back to the motorcycle and the driver drove away fast. The license plate of the
motorcycle was unidentified because it was covered.
6. As a result thereof, the victim sustained one (1) gunshot wound to the head and was rushed to the
Dominican Hospital, Digos City for medical
treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival (DOA) by the attending physician thereat.
7. The motive of the incident is undetermined and the case is still under investigation.
8. The PNP personnel of this Station are still conducting follow-up operation for possible identification of
the suspects and thorough investigation regarding the background of victim. Progress report will follow.
