Hypothesis: A supposition or proposed explanation made on the basis of 

limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation. 
Variable: Not consistent or having a fixed pattern liable to change​. 
independent variable:An independent variable is defined as the variable that 
is changed or controlled in a scientific experiment. 
dependent variable:A dependent variable is the variable being tested in a 
scientific experiment.  
controlled variable :Controlled Variables. Temperature is a common type of 
controlled variable. 
Model: A systematic description of an object or phenomenon that shares 
important characteristics with the object or phenomenon. 
theory:​A scientific theory is a specific type of theory used in the scientific
method 
law :A law in science is a generalized rule to explain a body of observations 
in the form of a verbal or mathematical statement.
