part of scandinavian culture
since it began, and is still
popular today. To
accompany these songs,
many people will partake in
traditional folk dancing.

Scandinavia is a general region
including the countries of
Denmark, Norway, Sweden,
Finland, and Iceland. It is
located on the continent of
Europe.

Religion
The majority of the
population, 71.5% to be
exact, belongs to the
Evangelical Lutheran
church. Some people also
still practice old norse
religions such as asatru.

Cuisine
Typical cuisine in Scandinavia
mainly consists of food made
of harring and reindeer. One
dish from this area that is well
known in other parts of the
world is Swedish meatballs.

● It is extremely common for people to ride bicycles to work or
school, and in some places more common than driving.
● Scandinavia has strong Nordic heritage, and it can still be
seen in their culture today.
