How does it feel when
others are not accepting
of diversity?
Another Side of Diversity...
❖ Not ALL people celebrate diversity in a positive way
❖ People can be discriminated against
➢ Discrimination is when people are treated unfairly because of the color or their skin, where they
live, whether they are a male or female, and more.
❖ When someone discriminates against you because of your skin color it is called
racism
❖ When people do not accept diversity, they can display hate
➢ This can look like:
■ Bullying
■ Violence
■ Racism
■ Discrimination
❖ Racism, Hate, and Discrimination can happen to anyone…
