LSM Rocket ships are still a powerful asset when trying to neutralise bases but are no longer
effective for spamming
The ASW Fletcher and Akizuki are a match for any submarine, even the upgraded Kaiten as it can
outrun and outturn and hunt down any underwater threat
Kaitens are something to be afraid of but their 45 knot speed makes them a juicy target for the
ASW Fletcher and the increased cost of the carrier sub makes spamming less effective. Yet in the
right hands with support from other units a Kaiten carrier sub is a potent weapon
Kikka and P-80 spamming is reduced by the increased cost for each unit and they are a match for
each other. 200CP is on par given their speed and performance. The Kikka is now part of the
fighter class and as a result any planes approaching a Kikka squad on patrol will be automatically
targeted. The Kikka is stull an upgrade to the Val and Judy
The dive angle of dive bombers made them an easy target for AA as it puts them in the effective
envelope for AA guns. Dive bombers now come in from higher and at a steeper angle making AA
less effective. Decently planned waypoints will ensure destruction of the target. This means that
when building fleets planning the formation es key to survival
Level bombers bombing from a higher angle makes them a bit more difficult to intercept and
target with flak
The TBM and Ohka Carrier speeds are now the same as that of the Swordfish, solving the problem
of them being hopelessly too slow
2-3 Kaitens will ensure a kill on a destroyer but keep an eye out for the ASW Fletcher. The US
side better plan their fleets well to defend against kaitens
The gravity effects on bullets (from planes, flak and AA) will make aiming a bit more tricky. The
30mm slugs have a nasty arc but improved damage. Hitting planes from a disance is more difficult
but the victory is much more sweet when and enemy plane disintegrates in front of you
US rockets are reverted back to prior v.1.0 but retain the damage from 1.0
The new “explode to parts” feature for planes lets planes disintegrate as they fall from the sky
making a very satisfying sight and the improved ship explosions will leave a grin on your face

patch
A brand new splash screen featuring breathtaking moments from BSP will show while the game
loads and the ingame menu comes alive with new videos playing.
