Plotting Data Project

Directions
1. Pick a player from the 1992 United States men's Olympic basketball team.
2. Plot his stats on Desmos Calculator using the x axis for the NBA season and the y axis for his
points per game average that season.
3. Print out the graph (make sure you enlarge and center your data points).
4. Connect your data points with lines.
5. Label your axes and title your graph.
6. Next to each point write its x and y components.

Questions
Write a paragraph on a separate sheet from the graph that includes the answers to the
following questions.
1. What does the graph represent?
2. What is the mean and median of the data?
3. What is the range of your players points scored?
4. What are the max and min points scored and would they be considered outliers?
