Available at: http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2018/10/08/americans-support-marijuana-legalization/
[Accessed 8 Oct. 2018].
This article touches on a bunch of facts about how many people support the legalization of marijuana and
the political side of things. The writer's purpose of this article was to show the statistics of how many
Americans were in favor of legalizing marijuana. I have never heard of the author before but her facts
were backed up with sources from where she got them and everything seemed unbiased. I would most
definitely call this source credible. I plan to use many of the statistics from this source in my paper to
prove that the majority of Americans want to legalize marijuana.

Drug Policy Alliance. (2019). Marijuana Legalization and Regulation. [online] Available at:
http://www.drugpolicy.org/issues/marijuana-legalization-and-regulation [Accessed 17 Mar. 2019].
This article states many facts that are backed up with sources that prove the pros of legalizing marijuana.
It touches on many of the recent acts on the ballet along with product safety recommendations. The
purpose of this article is like many others and it talks about how many jobs legalizing marijuana would
create along with reducing harm around gang violence. Never heard of the author before but the article
wasn't biased and it had factual evidence in it. I will use many of the facts from this website in my paper.

numbers from Data analysis firms such as DBS Analysis. The author's main purpose is to give people a
unbiased article to show facts that support the legalization. I have never heard of the author before but he
obtained a lot of his information from Data analysis firms and other reliable sources. I plan to touch on
many of these facts in my own paper.

This article touches on the opposing viewpoints and health risks of marijuana. Having an article that
challenges my opinion was good for me because it helps my paper stay unbiased. I believe the author wrote
this article to show the downsides of marijuana because it does have its cons and isn't completely safe. It
also proves my point that marijuana isn't for everyone. It also touches on “drugged driving” deaths and says
how marijuana is a huge contributor to these deaths. As far as the author goes I have never heard of her but
her work is reliable and credible. I will use some of the opposing viewpoints in my paper to let people form
their own opinion.

This article touches on a couple of facts I wanted to use in my paper. I had a hard time finding these facts
the way they were formatted but this article has them just how I want them. This article also has a couple
of graphs that show different percentages. Since this article only touches on facts I would say it is 100%
reliable and credible. I'm going to use this articles facts to back up a couple of my main claims in my
paper.

This article really touches on why we should legalize marijuana. I didn’t find this website to be very biased
but it doesn’t give too much detail about the other side of things. The main point of this article is to give
the reader more information about why marijuana should be legalized. I plan to use many of these
statements in my paper.

Foerstel, Karen. "Marijuana Legalization." CQ Researcher, 23 Aug. 2016,

library.cqpress.com/cqresearcher/cqr_ht_marijuana_2016.
This article starts of by touching on the background info of the legalization of marijuana and states
the argument between both sides. It shows the percentage of U.S support for legalizing pot and also
hits on a couple of facts I want to include in my article. Yet again I have not heard of the author prior
to my reading but the article does not seem biased in anyway and only states facts. I plan to use a
decent amount of information from this article in my first opening paragraphs.
