REFLECTION PAPER IN BUSINESS MATH

Well, the first thing i'd like to say about our subject Business Mathematics is that
it is one of the best subject . It gives people a chance to see what the real world of
entrepreneurship is especially to us students, One of the things that we do in business
math is to sell products such as what we sell (siomai) that is a really great idea because
before we don’t have any idea on what business is and just spend cash on things that
we think is right but in the end, we end up with nothing. Well really the strengths of this
operation is that people will really learn to spend their cash wisely and that they would
know how to spend their money when it comes to business. number of people on those
places. Siomai making and selling is a very good business to look forward for. It can be
sold anytime and almost anywhere. Having this kind of business requires time and effort
as well as right marketing strategies.

This business is in terms of food in which we have to make sure that the business
observes cleanliness and right sanitation should be observed. The objective of Siomai
business is to bring affordable food without losing its delicious taste. This business
doesn’t require a big profit; in addition, it aims to help those people who are staying at
home to earn profit and to make them more productive. We sell the siomai’s inside our
campus and since our target market is at school, Our customers are mostly students and
teachers who passes as well as teachers who stays on their classroom craving for some
food/s to eat.

And when it comes to competitors, Small businesses have many competitors all
around them. Like in school, there are lots of food carts as well as canteens who sells
different foods that sometimes Siomai is also one of their offered food. Likewise, selling
on the neighborhood can also have lots of competitors, like carinderias and some food
carts that are roaming around. Our strategy is that We make sure that our product
(Siomai) would be different from other siomai businesses as well as our other competitors
in terms of taste and service that we will offer.
It is fun sereling siomai for Our Business Math Subject but I think the weakness of
this business is that there may be people outside who are just after the money and not
take any learnings for this experience, and there's also the kind of people who think that
they're already set for life just with this and they may leave their families or they might
not settle for anything better anymore. One more disadvantage of this is that if a student
dosen't make good in this, how will he be able to pay back the loan? Well for this there
are many ways that it can turn out for you, it could turn out good and you'll end up
successful, or you could end up having nothing in the end and your all broke, but
whatever you'll end up with. Well my final statement about this is that it is a good idea(if
you are successful in it).
What i learned is that this program was very useful to the students of
entrepreneurship because they could experience first hand what it feels like when you
borrowed the money yourself and the weight of the loan is on you because in this
situation, it's hard to choose what you want to invest your money in, mainly because you
borrowed that money and you may lose it in a week or two but you can also double it in
the same amount of time. So what i'm saying here is that it is hard to choose what you
want to invest your money in, especially when you carry the weight of the money on
your own shoulders and that you know that it could all be gone in a second.
