1.1 Introduction:

An online resume builder is a software developed to simplify the task of creating a

resume for individuals. The application provides an effective means of designing
desired resume in fact a professional looking resume. The system is flexible to be
used and reduces the need of thinking and designing an appropriate resume
according to qualifications. Usually individuals get confused while creating a
resume especially for a novice person such as graduate students. They don’t get a
clear idea of what things and information must be included in a resume. Hence the
system is developed to provide them an easy way for creating a professional
looking resume.

This project is user-friendly and requires minimum human intervention.

Individuals just have to fill up a form that specifies questions from all required
fields such as personal questions, educational, qualities, interest, skills and so on.
The answers provided by the users are stored and the system automatically
generates a well structured resume. Users have option to create resume in any
format and file.

1.2 Objective:

I. Provides instant resume to individuals.

II. There are choices available for resume format for users as per their
qualification and requirements.
III. Reduces tedious work in thinking and creating resume and is convenient for
users.
IV. Provides quick access and is affordable.
V. The system saves time and reduces human efforts.
1.3 Problem Statement:

People want to make their resume as they want, but it is time consuming. There is
no more time that they write their resume at office word document. Sometimes
they don’t know the proper format to write the resume. The result is that they don’t
make a professional resume.

Online Resume Builder provide them the facility to get the

resume as they want. They select any template and add their information and then
make a professional resume in few minutes.

1.4 Scope:

We are going to develop Online Resume Builder for any professional person. This
system will help people to design their resumes in simple and essay way without
any wastage of time. There will be several templates available for different types
of resume.

Online Resume Builder can be used in accordance with the

requirements of the customers. Customers can customize their resumes with their
choice of themes & details. The services are hard to be defeated by the competitors
as the system is providing the customers exactly what they want.
