Dr.

Tassadaq Hussain at Riphah Int’l University has successfully conducted a


PEC Recognized Workshop on Python for Signal and Image Processing on
9th of March 2019 in collaboration with Pakistan Engineering Council and UCERD Pvt Limited Islamabad.
Event Organized by Riphah FEAS Students: Tayyab Mujahid, Muhammad Abdullah, Mubeen Ahmad and Areeb Agha

Dr. Tassadaq Hussain was the head of the workshop, he presented the
importance of Python for Signal and Image Processing for academia,
research and industry.
Workshop Include Introduction to Python Languages, Python for Signal
Processing with examples, Python for Image Processing with examples,
Introduction to Big Data and Computing and Conventional
Programming Approaches.

In the workshop, Dr. Tassadaq discussed about different Conventional Programming Approaches and
Python Language for Signal and Image Processing and its different real-life applications.
There were 60 Participants from
multiple Universities including Dr. Rehan
Ahmad from Electrical Engineering,
National University of Science and
Technology (NUST), and Masters PHD
Researchers from Multiple Universities.

Dr. Rehan Ahmad from National University of Science and


Technology (NUST) EE department gave invited talk on
Microprocessor (ASIC) vs FPGA with Hardware Architect.
