) INTRODUCTION:
Child is one of the most important assets of the nation. Every effort should
be exerted to promote his welfare and enhance his opportunities for a useful
and happy life. (R.A. 7610)
Street child is a term for children experiencing homelessness who are living
on the streets of a city, town, or village. Street children are minors who live
and survive on the streets. They often grow up in public landfills, train
stations, our under the bridges of the world's major cities. Because of
conflicts with their family, these children don't want to or can't return home.
They roam the streets in search the opportunities to earn a living or in order
to survive, sometimes through dubious means.
These children are vulnerable to any kind of physical, emotional and mental
harm from his/her environment. The government has a responsibility to
protect them from any abuse and neglection, improving their physical and
mental health and their cultural and emotional well-being, improving their
education and training and their participation in recreation and cultural
activities, strengthening their connection to their family, increasing their
participation in decision making about them, and their contribution to
society, improving their social and economic well-being.

There was a conflict on the schedule during the visit, because there were on-
going parties conducting the same intention. The in-charge of the institution
admitted that she had over-looked the schedule, however problem then
resolved and the purpose has been implemented.
In line with the church calling to address the oppressed, exploited and the
poor, this activity were being conceptualized and materialized with the help
of the students who donated the goods for the disadvantaged groups,
families and communities.
It was really a good and inspiring experience for the SJA students to visit the
Bahay Sandigan-Tahanan ng Batang Pinoy of Langaray St. Barangay Longos
Malabon City.A drenched of pouring rain did not stop the intention of the
volunteers to give gifts to the disadvantage children. Despite the stormy
weather, we have witnessed the eagerness of all the beneficiaries to
participate in our outreach programs. With the full support of the
administration, the gazette and vox representatives witnessed this good
endeavor. They distributed grooming kits and educational books donated
from ERDA Foundation.

The Bahay Sandigan Welfare House which supports the education of the
Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL Cases) through Alternative Learning
System Program and eventually the donated boxes of text books and
workbooks from ERDA Foundation became very useful for these students of
Books and Hygiene Kit Distribution (Post Activity Report) SY.2016-2017
ALS. We have also donated ten boxes of used clothes of kids wear and toys
from the CES office wherein it is one of the basic needs of the children.
Mr. Stephen Olaya and Ms. Angeline Dela Cruz , the moderators of Vox
and Gazette witnessed this very heartfelt intention for these disadvantage
and vulnerable children.
Listed hereunder are the students and the advisers who accompanied during
the Outreach Program on September 27, 2016 Tuesday at Bahay
Sandigan Welfare House, Barangay Longos, Malabon City.

IX.) EVALUATION/ASSESSMENT:
Outreach is meeting the needs of our community and world while expressing
God’s love in ways that build relationship and provide opportunities to share
God’s plan of salvation
X.) RECOMMENDATIONS:
Full support coming from the entire institution of SJA is recommended and
that they may involve in different outreach activities and experience the
same purpose especially the students and the pupils who are likely to be
exposed in the outreach activities.
A continuous support for the succeeding activities are also encourage from different offices, faculty, non-
teaching and the administration, for the outreach program plans next year the following:
