Continuous battery operation
The HT70 Internal Dual Battery System incorporates the latest
lithium-ion technology with a primary ‘hot swappable’ battery
for up to 10 hours of operation and a secondary backup
battery with a minimum of 30 minutes of power. Need more
time? Simply swap out the Power Pac with a fresh one for
uninterrupted operation. No tools are needed. The Power Pac is
fully recharged in only 3 hours.
For a long transport, a full day at the park or in case of a power
emergency, the HT70 can give ventilator users added security
and peace of mind.
Totally self-sustaining
The HT70 has no need for external compressed gas from
a compressor or a cylinder. Newport Medical engineers
have designed a new, patented, micro piston pump that
runs cool and quiet and is gas efficient. Our high quality
manufacturing standards ensure reliability and durability
for the life of the product.
Built to stand up in any environment
Behind the HT70’s good looks is a tough structure built
to take the abuse in all environments. Whether it’s in the
hospital, in the home, in a rescue helicopter or in the field,
the HT70 is designed to withstand rough treatment.
Air transport capable and field ready
Rated for use in helicopter and fixed wing transports,
and commercial airline flights, the HT70 is designed
to withstand the physical stress and the electrical and
magnetic fields expected in these environments. The HT70
will not interfere with other equipment. Quick start features
and its compact size make the HT70 the first choice for
any emergency situation.

Simple straightforward controls
The HT70’s full color touch screen makes it easy to set up and to
see what’s going on. There is no need to remember complicated
menus. Everything is quickly accessed from the touch screen.
The monitoring, ventilation parameters and alarms are color
coded for quick recognition.
Choose your application domain
The HT70 touch screen can be set up to meet the needs of your
staff and the ventilator user. Choose from Hospital, Transport
or Basic Domains. In Hospital Domain you have full access to all
screens. In Basic Domain screens are simplified and user access
is limited. In Transport Domain, essential monitoring, alarms and
setting parameters are accessible and easy to view.
Exceptional clinical capability
More responsive and sensitive than ever, the HT70 can meet
your patients’ needs from 5 kgs to adult, for invasive and
non-invasive ventilation. Features such as pressure support,
slope/rise and expiratory threshold flow and time adjustment,
Alarm Quickset and optional built-in oxygen monitoring with
alarms bring the HT70’s portable ventilation to a higher level
of clinical care.
Customizable features to meet your requirements
Use your patient protocols to customize your Preset options and
activate them at the touch of a button for quick and easy patient
setups. Back Up Ventilation can be linked with either the Low
Minute Volume alarm or the Apnea alarm – or both if you prefer.
Help is only a touch away
Uniquely designed, the HT70 “Help” button provides instant
access to useful information on all the features and alarms on
the ventilator. Simply touch the [?] icon and then touch a button,
an explanation of that feature appears on the screen.
