Introduction

As the time passes in our lives we become witnesses of enormous evolution

according to the life style and the way we communicate and get to know each other.
Unfortunately, techonology has taken a huge step in the industry so we are no longer
able to meet face to face with the person we’d like to talk because here is the
internet as an easier way. Now days is popular the new way of meeting people called
online dating also known as the internet relationships- the main tittle I’ll talk about in
my paper work.This kind of relationship can be between people in different states,
different countries, different sides of the world, or even people who reside in the
same area but do not communicate in person. We can denie that some of us maybe
found the love of their lives by dating online or maybe a friend of a same interests
but we also have to be aware that there are many dangerous possibilities by doing
that. However, I managed to make a review of all the things that internet
relationships contain including the experiences of the people so that we could
understand the true meaning of the tittle.

What is online dating?

The online dating is known as an interpersonal relationship between two

people who have met online by chatting on the Internet. Those two people may not
even know each other but by just entering one of the web sites specialized for that
you can find a bunch of single ladies or men who are open for a new friendship.
However, according to an article in the New York Times mediated matchmaking has
been around since the mid-1800s.Online dating was made available in the mid-
1990s, with the creation of the first dating sites.These dating sites create a space for
liberation of sexuality.

Online forums which are made for that are also more and more progressing
and becoming the easier way to meet someone and maybe go on a date. They can
be used for asking questions, post options or even debate topics about love
situations or something like that. People who are single are really into this and by
that I mean they are not even ashamed to admit that. Non-stop they look for a
partner who can please their interests so they comment on each other topics and
with more often communication the form goes from a friendship or a partnership to a
romance relationship.

The advantages and disadvantages about internet relationships

Starting with the advantages in my opinion I think that online dating can’t be
such a bad thing considering the fact that you really can find someone similar to you
and get on well with. Another thing is that this gives a sense of trust and equality,
which people search for in a relationship and this is often easier to achieve online
than face to face. Furthermore, you never known what life could bring you so maybe
the person you are online chatting with is exactly your type and could be your partner
for a lifetime. Also, when you online chat you are more self-confident so the first
steps in the “get to know each other” are easy because obviously he or she is not
watching you and the most important thing that I must add is that the biggest
advantage is that internet allows you the opportunity to know someone for who they
really are and not for how the look or how they dress.

On the other hand online dating could be a little more dangerous by the fact of
not seeing that person face to face. First of all, we are aware of our society and of
how now days everybody could know your entering password so the option for an
individual to conceal their identity may be harmless in many cases and the best way
to protect yourself it’s to not reveal your real name or something privately. Moreover,
there is a case where someone else is introducing as you and is using pictures of
yourself and your identity is ruined. Another thing is that in person they are not
always the people they’ve said they are and not just in their soul but also in their
looks, so you’ll probably turn out to be disappointed.

„ I’ve never believed that online dating can bring me so much happiness. I
started doing it when I was 20 years old but then I was not that much into it till the
moment I met a young man with who we shared so much in common so we
continued chatting everyday till the moment we finally met in person. I was surprised
how beautiful he was she says and after a week or two we seriously hit it off and
officially started dating. We are now engaged and looking forward to our wedding.
You never known when will you meet your soulmate so keep searching and dating of
course she laughs “

„Unfortunately I’m not the person with a good experience in online dating
according to the fact that I was a victim of a stolen identity in the first week after I
started online chatting. It was going good I so far met 3 girls just online but the fun
stopped when I saw that someone else started using his account under my name
and with my pictures. I was pretty much angry and of course I hesitated the person
who had made this so from that moment I’ve never tried that again”

I managed to find a picture and to show the statistic of the online dating

From the picture above we can surely tell that people have no problem with
meeting people online and the going out on a date with them. They are open for a
new communications and are aware that that allows us to find a better match. Maybe
the result will not be as good as you though it’ll be but at least you are not sitting
home and waiting for your love to magically appear.

 Talking about the statistics I couldn’t help but wonder what are the facts about
the online dating so I used the internet to find what it is really important on the first
date and which type of hairs or a color is preferred:

Conclusion

All in all I can tell that online dating has taken a huge place in our society so
whether we like it or not there is nothing we can do to stop it. But by reading this
project of a mine you can see that online dating sometimes can be a good thing and
you really can meet your soulmate or maybe you can meet just a friend. The
important thing is that if we agree to do it we have to be aware that maybe in some
point we’ll get hurt or be disappointed if we don’t like the result but we may also be
happy and find the love of our lives. Another important thing is that we must protect
ourselves while doing that so that in the future we don’t have a problem with stolen
identity or something like that. In the end is up to you, will you try it and maybe meet
someone or will you wait for that to happen spontaneously.
