This artwork is about hot air balloon pointilism. The reason that I chose hot air
balloon as my theme is because I think that the characteristic of ballon is very suitable
to create a colourful and playful pattern. Besides that, hot air balloon is like a symbol
of dream to me, studying in design course is my dream, therefore, I always like to use
the elements that related to hot air balloon in my homework, and I wish that I could
explore more in creating different kind and style of works within the same theme.

The reason that I paint the background to black color is because the darken
background can provide a larger contrast to the colorful subject. Somemore, I wish to
express that pursuing your dream is not easy, black colour is like the combination of
the painful, the hardship, the challenge and even the failure that everyone will face
when pursuing their dream.

The reason that I paint the hot air balloon in a very colorful way is to indicate that
dream can bring us hope, happiness, love and many more positive things that can let us
overcome all those negative that we will be facing.

Therefore, by creating the contrast in this artwork is that I wish to tell that even
though you think you are in the hardest time, but if you have a dream and you persevere
to achieve it, it will lighten you up and guide you.
