Should we fail to receive your complaint form in 6 calendar days, we will process your complaint as it currently exists and ‘etain your original file(s) in eccordanos with the Agency's retention policy. We are also requesting an authorization to release information form from your clentfindividual you are representing, allowing you to act on their behalf. The TEA will address those issues in your complaint thet fall within the agency's jurisdiction and within the seope of the agency's compiaints management program. if we identify issues that ‘would be more appropriately addressed by another entity, we will refer that issue to the entity for further review. We will inform you of any external reterreis. A student disciplinary action under TEC Chapler 37 by the board of lvustees is final and may not be appeaied to the Commissioner per TEC §7.057(@)(2). The Hearings and Appeals Division has determined that appeals of decisions by the governing body of an open-enrollment charter schoo! may no! be considered under TEC §7.057(a)(2).
