Florida: Everybody in Tangub has participation

“Its not about the government money, what is it all about is the willingness of Tangubanons to offer”.

This was the message of Honorable Beatriz G. Florida, City Councilor of Tangub City today at
Northwesthern Mindanao State College ofS science and Technoology Covered Court. She shared how
participative Tangubanons were.
Based on Florida’s statement, Tangub City may be known as the smallest city in the Philippines but
it is the city biggest in heart. She also verbalized that the Christmas Symbol Festival symbolizes the
thoughtfulness of Tangubanons.

“Education is the banner program of Tangub City,” Florida uttered. Through education the
Tangubanons know how to cooperate, participate for the city ,she added.

Furthermore, she has emphasized that the people of Tangub are willing to offer money and
hardwork just to make people of the Philippines happy.

Tangub City hosts RSPC 2018

Tangub City is hosting the Regional Schools Press Conference 2018, Region X, Northern
Mindanao.

There are 3,506 participants coming from the 14 divisions of Northern Mindanao namely:
Bukidnon, Cagayan de oro, Camiguin, El Salvador, Gingoog, Iligan, Lanao del Norte, Malaybalay, Misamis
Occidental, Misamis Oriental, Oroquieta, Ozamis, Tangub, and Valencia.

Contestants will compete in writing news, editorial, feature, sports, and in Science and health as
well as in (Science and Health) copyreading and headline writing, Photojournalism, and editorial
cartooning in individual events and in collaborative publishing radio and TV broadcasting for group
events.

This year’s journalistic competition is anchored with the theme, “Fostering 21st Century Skills
and Character Based Education through Campus Journalism”.
