Abstract

Based on Kano and Abuja Region RF optimization work experience, this article describes the basic
optimization methods.

2 Check TRX power

The power of TRX is very important, so we should check the power of TRX at the first time. If you
don’t know how to set the value of power, the suggestion is that to Max the TRX power.

The power of TRX is too low, especially for DCS1800.

3 Arrange the Channel

Sometimes, the PDTCH channels are too many or the SDCCH channels are too few. Congestion may be
caused by the unreasonable channel arrangement especially when there are only 2 TRXs but configured with 4
PDTCHs.
