DESIGN CALCULATION FOR COMBINATION FIXTURE

1. CENTER PLATE:

It is position by centre point of base plate. It’s used for fixture multi-seating plate changed
one by one seating period on both side every components locating for centre plate at the
centre point

 Height of the plate :

h = maximum diameter of component + lower clearance valve + upper clearance valve

h = 223mm + 25mm + 20mm

= 268mm.

 Width of the plate :

b = maximum diameter of component + 2* clearance valve

= 223mm + 2*35

= 299mm.

 Thickness of the plate :

t = two side seating plate undercut depth + centre gap between seating plate depth

= 2*6 + 12

= 24mm.

 Seating size arrangement of centre plate :

Minimum diameter of the component due to run directly on fixture.

So, minimum diameter of component = 122mm.
