Profile:
Fourth year student in the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Education (Design, Graphics & Construction) programme in
GMIT Letterfrack, Co. Galway. This degree will qualify me to teach Materials Technology Wood and Technical Graphics
to Junior Cycle, and Construction Studies and Design and Communication Graphics to Senior Cycle. I have developed
skills in project design, interactive learning, lesson planning and teaching methodologies. I also have completed three
block work placements as part of my course, which enhanced my communication and classroom management skills.
Upon inspection, I was rewarded an Honours Standard in terms of Classroom Management, Teaching Demeanour,
Lesson Planning and Resources along with creating a Positive Working Environment. Seeking teaching opportunities
from September 2019.
