Participant Information

Medical Insurance

We highly recommend health insurance coverage during the course. You will be
required to sign a liability release waiver upon arrival at the course. Please also fill out
the Medical Form so we have a record of your health and emergency contact
information.

Hotel

We will be staying at the Jimbaran Bay Beach Resort and Spa by Prabu. CSF has
reserved you a room with a Check In period on Sunday, March 17th, 2019 and Check
Out period on Saturday, March 30th, 2019. If you wish to extend your stay, it will be
under your personal cost and it should be reserved by you.

Rooms are on a shared accommodation basis with an en suite bathroom. CSF will cover
accommodation and meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and coffee breaks). You are
responsible for any other incidentals such as telephone calls, minibar, laundry, etc.

Meals

Breakfast and dinner will be provided at the HIU Restaurant & Wine Lounge located at
the Ground Floor of the hotel. Lunch and morning and afternoon coffee/tea breaks will
be provided in the classroom each day. Please let us know if you have any dietary
restrictions (food allergies, vegetarian, or other requirements) when you fill out the
Medical Form.

Internet access

There is Internet access within the hotel. Please be prepared for the possibility of slow or
erratic Internet.

Transportation

All participants are responsible for their own transportation either in your origin (home-
airport-home) or in Bali (airport-hotel-airport). CSF will not cover or responsible to
arrange your ground transportation.
Classroom

The training will be held in the Baruna Ball Room located at the 5th Floor of the hotel on
Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 5.00 pm. Each participants must register and sign
the registration list each day at the registration desk as one of the requirements to
receive the certificate.

Personal Expenses

You are responsible for all of your personal expenses, such as extra hotel expenses,
laundry, food items outside the regular meals provided, and activities on your day off.

Field Trip

On Saturday, March 23rd, 2019, we will have an afternoon field trip. CSF will cover the
cost of this trip and provide transportation form the hotel. Please be ready at the hotel
lobby latest at 10.45 am to depart from the hotel. Our field trip location will be a place of
fisheries activities, so please dress accordingly.

What to bring

We strongly recommend you to bring a laptop, as we will have exercises and group
works using laptop.

In addition, bring comfortable, casual clothes, as well as a sweater or sweatshirt in case

the classroom or hotel has strong air conditioning. We also recommend sunscreen,
sunglasses and a water bottle for the field trip and the day off. If you plan to swim in the
hotel pool or snorkel nearby, bring a bathing suit. You can bring your own snorkel gear
or you can arrange to rent it from the hotel. Please also feel free to bring a nicer outfit for
our graduation party.

Course Materials

We will set up an online course workspace on www.onehub.com, where we you will be

able to access course information, readings, lectures, exercises, and useful links. This
workspace will be available to you on an ongoing basis after the course is completed.
You will be receiving an invitation from onehub.com to join the workspace - if you do not
receive this invitation, or have trouble joining, please contact our Program Coordinator,
Imanda Pradana. One of the folders in the workspace is labeled "Pre-course Reading".
We encourage you to take a look at these readings to familiarize yourself with some of
the concepts before the course. We won’t provide printed readings, all materials will be
available in the workspace.
